Hi Maren —
I believe this is the only building on the Hansen Farm property. There are other buildings that are on the Rennat
property that you might have thought were on our property? I walked the entire property a couple of weeks ago and
didn't see any other smaller structures.
Jeff — can you please confirm that the house is the only building within your property limit.
If I'm incorrect, I'd be happy to get additional photos for you.
Thanks,
Kristin

Hi Kristin,
This is a good start, but I've noted that there are multiple buildings on the site and our historic review process requires
us to evaluate the property as a whole, so we will also need sets of photos for the existing outbuildings. You don't need
to send additional forms for each building, but we do need a full set of photos for each one.
I apologize if this was unclear in my earlier email.
Regards,
Maren

Attachments: Historic Review Results_6029 S Timberline_2017.pdf
Hi Kristin and Jeff,
The historic review of the brick residence at 6029 S Timberline concluded that the property is eligible for local landmark
designation under Standards B (association with significant historic persons) and C (architecture). The property will be
posted with a historic review to provide notice regarding the two -week appeal period for this decision.
The attached review form provides additional details that outline the basis for the conclusions. I think you may know
that the same determination was reached in 2012 when McWhinney brought the property forward for review. The
outbuildings were still standing at that time but the communication from McWhinney indicated that the historic
significance of the residence would be recognized and the building incorporated into the site plan in order to preserve it.
This recent review updates that determination and underscores that Land Use Code section 3.4.7, which guides how
developments must treat identified historic resources, will come into play for any future development proposals for that
parcel.
I have shared this information with Pete Wray and we'd like to offer to meet with you at this time if you have any
questions about how to proceed based on the updated determination. Otherwise, you can simply acknowledge the
historic resource status of the existing structure on site plans for future review by City staff.
Regards,
Maren

Of course (it's an odd property boundary for sure)! Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
