ITEM: SPRADLEY-BARR DLRSHIP -
Preliminary PUD North
NUMBER: 64-93 B
Commu r, y Planning and Environmental
Planning Department
City of Fort Collins
November 4, 1993
Dear Resident:
rvices
On Thursday, November 18, 1993, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Poudre Valley
R.E.A., 4809 South College Avenue*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department
will conduct a second neighborhood information meeting to discuss the development
proposal known as Spradley-Barr Auto Dealership P.U.D.
The request is to convert the buildings and grounds of the present Poudre Valley
R.E.A. facility, 10.93 acres, into an auto dealership for new and used cars. The
auto dealership will also include a service shop, body shop, and carwash. The
proposal includes converting a large portion of the grassy area along College
Avenue into a vehicle display area. Building additions are also planned.
At this time, the site is not located within the City limits. The request to
annex the property into the municipal boundaries is working its way through the
City review process concurrently with the P.U.D. request.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your
input on this matter to be an important element in the City's review of the
proposal. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are
welcome.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is
derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag
time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations,
a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity
to attend.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 221-
6750.
Sincerely,
Ted Shepard, AIC
Senior Planner
