Ted Shepard - neighborhood meeting 6 11 "l.doc _ Page 2
C4. NO, there will be a lot of foot traffic, and drinking.
C5. I do not like the evergreen trees in the far South East corner, there needs to be something else.
CAS. That is not a problem, they can be changed.
Q8. Why did you do away with the assisted living project?
A8. Assisted living does not make financial sense. It will take years to fill the beds, there is overbuilding going on
in the market now.
C6. I would rather have the assisted living project than the offices. For the kids visiting the older people, the
neighborhood, for the interaction with the elderly.
Q9. How do we contact the property Management Association? Do they have meetings we can attend?
A9. They do not have a meeting per say, all of the tenants have a position in the association.
Q10. In the cul-de-sac (Rockport) will there be lights?
A10. The City will takeover control of the streets and improvements will start early next spring.
C7. The turn onto the center entrance (Timberwood) needs to be improved.
ACT That will be improved.
Ql 1. Is there an entrance from Harmony?
Al1. It will be done when the other improvements are done. There will be a 3/4 entrance on Harmony (exit is right
turn only).
Q12. Will there be raised sidewalks?
Al2. There will be neck -downs (earlier neighborhood meeting attendees said that they didn't want speed bumps).
A 12. (T) Call Traffic Engineering, Eric Bracke, about changes to the street.
Q13. Will there be a meeting about the landscaping, especially Rockwell Court.
A 13. (T) The plan has not changed, it is as showed on the renderings, including trees.
Shirley's pictures were showed
C8. Thanks to Ty and the City for the basketball court. They are very nice, I enjoy roller blading on the court.
Q14. How long will it take to build?
A14. October or November
A14. (T) Shouldn't take a lot. 8 to 12 weeks after submittal until the public hearing.
Q15. Where will the air conditioning and other services be placed around the building?
A15. There will be a screened wal, but the plans are not that specific yet.
The meeting went to a general discussion and ended at 8:15 p.m

Q4. Will the lights be on all night?
A4. They don't have to be.
C 1. Leaving the lights on all night might be a good idea, for security reasons.

Q5. Will there be unloading of medical supplies at weird hours?
A5. The supplies will be dropped off during daytime hours, when the offices are open. The doctors may have
evening hours perhaps one night a week.

A6. (T) Yes it could change uses, but that has not happened that Ted is aware of.
