Members: I was startled to read in today's Coloradoan that the City is considering plans for a development by Richland Homes, on Harmony and Timberline roads with lot sizes of only 5,000 square feet! Is this a misprint? If not, is there any possibility that the City will approve cluster housing of this density? At some point the City has to gather up its courage and. say "NO! to develop -tents which are unwise for the ea _st.i..g residents ;k d. the enviromment. With st:.ch small lot sizes ,m wcui:l be fair better_ off with t.ownhomeE or almost any other styla of r:tulti- fam:ily housing. Even Lite Town of Tirtnat.1, .`.as a rrtirimLlm lot size of 1-1 000 square feet. I'm hard pressed tc understand how p.rotessional piarLne-•s or City officials could even briefly entertain this scheme as a viable option. With all due respect, I urge you to demolish this proposal as soon, and as firmly, as possible. Respectfully, Richard L. Eversoie cc: Mayon Ann Azari
