Dear Resident:
On Thursday, March 3, 1994 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Congregational
Church, 916 West Prospect Road*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department
will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal
in your neighborhood.
The subject property is known at Tract J of the Centre for Advanced Technology
and is located on the east side of Shields, across from Rolland Moore Park, and
south of Sundering Townhomes. The parcel is approximately 13 acres in size (see
map).
The proposal, at this time, consists of 60 multi -family units divided between
eight, two-story apartment buildings, and 33 single family lots. the developer
is Mr. John McCoy, who is presently developing the area east of Hill Pond and
Sundering Townhomes known as Windtrail on Spring Creek Overall Development Plan.
Tract J of the Centre for Advanced Technology is owned by Colorado State
University Research Foundation (CSURF). In exchange for allowing Mr. McCoy to
develop a portion of Tract J CSURF would be allowed to develop the eastern
portion of Windtrail on Spring Creek (see map). This proposed trade would
involve an amendment to both the Windtrail on Spring Creek and Centre for
Advanced Technology Overall Development Plans. Full-size copies of both of these
Overall Development Plans are available at the Planning Department, 281 North
College Avenue, second floor, from 8:00 - 5:00 Monday thru Friday.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is
derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag
time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations,
a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity
to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are
welcome.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 221-
6750.
Sincerely,
Ted Shepard, A CP
