Grady, Manager 1123 West 3m Avenue Denver, Colorado 80223 Telephone: 303.571.313 5 Facsimile: 303.571.3524 Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) acknowledges the City of Fort Collins is in the process of designing and constructing a community/ whitewater park along the Poudre River in downtown Fort Collins. It is our understanding the project along E. Vine Drive is intended to improve in -river and bankside recreation, protect and restore habitat and provide flood mitigation and floodplain management. PSCo is the owner of a parcel of land adjacent to the proposed park (Parcel No. 9712200830) and existing access and utility easements (Book 530 Page 298 and 299 recorded November 10, 1925, Book 825, Page 530 recorded November 25, 1946 and Book 1183 Page 485 recorded September 25, 1962). PSCo staff has been presented with preliminary site and grading plans and has no initial objections to the proposed work. Subject to PSCo's review of the final plans, PSCo agrees to work with the City to accommodate the park and stormwater improvements by collaborating on the re -alignment of an existing access easement that crosses the City property, undergrounding of an electric line and conveyance of a small section of the substation parcel to allow for a trail. In turn, PSCo staff anticipates City staff will help provide screening/fencing of the substation, maintain at least a 16' wide access to the substation and construct a driveway ramp access off of Vine Drive. 7J,e.y, Rick Grady, S CC: Tawnya Ernst
