PROJECT: The Coventry Subdivision DATE: March 22,199
TOPIC: Continuation of Review Process TIME: 9:00 A.M.
In a telephone conversation with Mr. Glen Schleuter, City of Fort Collins Storm Water
Management, he informed JR Engineering, Ltd. that the City was not entirely satisfied with the
completeness of the RBD Report for Mail Creek and that an additional scope of work was going
to be issued to RBD to further investigate the flows on the south side of Harmony Road, and the
possibility of detaining them in a regional pond, location to be determined at a later date.
Glen wanted to inform us of this since it would affect the review of THE COVENTRY
SUBDIVISION by City Engineering. Glen suggested that we might consider phasing the
construction of this project in such a manner that the construction couldcontinue except for the
lots along the north side of East and West Bentley Place, these lots could be constructed after
RBD completes the additional study on Mail Creek.
Mr. Jim McCory was approached with this idea and is agreeable to phasing this subdivision at
this time.
Glen also indicated that the City would probably be willing to pick up the cost of the additional
36" storm pipe under Harmony Road and share the expense of the new proposed drainage
improvements under Hinsdale Road and Crest Road.
