Richardson Wonderland Custom Builders 745 Poplar Avenue Boulder CO 80304 Dear Mr. Richardson: City staff has reviewed the request to make changes at Indian Hills Village to Driveway G and the Tree Protection Requirements as stated in the memo from Scott Queen dated December 6, 1996. The attached diagram illustrates what must be done to protect the tree row along the west property line based on the intent of the Tree Protection Requirements that were approved for this project. This configuration will also provide a safe and workable solution for drainage concerns. You will need to resubmit drawings for staff approval that incorporate these changes. Please contact appropriate City staff with any questions on these requirements. El Construct a concrete retaining wall 2.5 feet east of the six foot tree protection zone. The retaining wall shall extend 9" above the berm as a curb stop to vehicles. R The footing excavation for the retaining wall shall not exceed 1.0 foot depth. H In the zone north of Driveway G, no fill should occur west of the point 2.5 feet from the tree protection zone. Construct a slight swale (6" depth) at the base of the retaining wall outside the tree protection zone. Provide continuous positive slope on swale to the north.
