On Monday, February 7, 2011, at 5:15 p.m., in conference room A at 281 North
College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Fort Collins Hearing Officer will
conduct a public hearing to discuss a land use development proposal in your
neighborhood. The project is referred to as Transfort Expansion — Major
Amendment, #23-10.
As proposed, the expansion includes a new 16,240 square feet bus shelter to
protect the new bus fleet from weather. Also, the existing bus wash facility will
be enlarged by 600 square feet to accommodate newer larger buses.
The location of the proposed bus storage building will directly adjoin the existing
building along the north wall as a building addition. And, the new bus storage
building will feature a flat roof to match the existing building. A new concrete
paved area will be added for bus operators to practice maneuvering the new
articulated buses that will be used along the Mason Street Corridor.
The Hearing Officer considers public input to be an important part of the
development review process. The list of affected property owners for this public
meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Due to
the lag time in recording recent property transactions or rental situations, please
feel free to contact your neighbors regarding this meeting.
Sincerely:
