As proposed, the annexation consists of bringing 18.035 acres at the southeast corner of South Timberline Road and Trilby Road into the Fort Collins city limits. The annexation process includes placing the parcel into the Urban Estate zone district as designated by the City's Structure Plan. The parcel is being annexed and zoned in anticipation of a future Project Development Plan submittal for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints (LDS) Temple. The second neighborhood meeting (not yet scheduled) will be attended by the applicant and sketch plans of the Temple will be presented to the neighborhood at that time.
