RE: STONEBRIDGE APARTMENTS
The hearing on the 28th is very necessary to gain the Board's final decision on
the driveway entrance. A delay is gn y appropriate should the Board determine
the driveway entrance be relocated to align with Monte Carlo; and —should they
want to see that revised version.
However, the neighborhood will be very upset with any approval other than
where the driveway is currently located. This was their request at the initial
neighborhood meeting, it is where we agreed to locate it to gain their support,
and where the Board agreed it should be located at the preliminary site plan
approval; after considerable debate about its most appropriate location.
The entire neighborhood meeting input process would be negated in their
opinion should now, at the final site plan approval meeting, the staff prevail in
having it located where they jgvva wanted it In the first place. Moreover, it
was fully debated at the public hearing prior to the Preliminary Plat approval
with the Board finding that the driveway would function in a reasonable manner
where It is now designed.
