HomeMy WebLinkAboutWESTBURY PUD - PRELIMINARY - 11-94 - CORRESPONDENCE - CITY STAFFLinder Real Estate March 31, 1994 Mr. Basil Hamden City of Fort Collins Stormwater Utility 235 Mathews Street Fort Collins, CO 80524 Dear Basil: I'd like to extend my thanks to you and Glen for meeting with Dick Rutherford and me so promptly to resolve the issues surrounding my Westbury PUD drainage submittal. This letter is to evidence my agreement to be cooperative regarding the need for additional regional facilities in that basin. It appears that increasing the capacity of the Westbury pond or altering its discharge rate would be helpful, and I will cooperate if requested. My proposal is just at the minimum requirement of 3 units per acre, to which I understand there are no more variances granted, so I do not want to lose any lots, but this does not appear to be a problem. I shall also endeavor to get Stewart and Associates to "flesh out" their reports and make them more thorough. Ironically, on Westbury I delayed the submittal a month to do just that and make a more complete proposal without unresolved issues. This delay pushed me to the limit of my contractual agreement regarding the property, which I really appreciate you and Glen being sensitive to. I asked Dick to include the Front Range and Pleasant Valley letters with the report to document the meetings and agreements I made with those parties. My plan is to submit for final in June, assuming we preliminary approval in April. This will allow us resolve the regional issues involved, which I agree Very truly yours, Mark Linder ML/bkh / cc: Steve Olt v get the time to to do. Specializing in Development Properties 3500 J.F.K.
