protection will be taken to assure that light spillage off -

elevations, will only be 6"`to 12" high. This does not create.

residence....to the west. Also, the gap between the .proposed
Austrian Pines apparently is in:direct.line with..the bedroom
windows.. of .:the.. residence (see the copy of;a letter from Karen

plant materials does not prevent headlights from escaping. The
existing -house on the lot at 335 Parker Street must be shown -
(including window locations) on the plan.
9 Information should be provided on the materials and colors of
the proposed -trash -enclosure. How will this_structure:relate
.to the building?
10. The identification leaders for the pole peel mulch and the-3'=
(not 1) Isanti Dogwood on the west side of the property appear
to be reversed.

Is there steel edging along the west side of the planting bed
south of the'new parking lot?
13. The General' Note on the Site & Landscape Plan about the timing.
for the landscaping should read "All landscaping shall be

issuance of a certificate of occupancy".
14. Where do the employees of the Columbine Care Center park now?
Who is, going to use the new parking lot? The net parking gain
with 6 spaces seems to be minimal. Will there be a commitment
by, the center to get much or most of its related parking
:(employees,: visitors) off the surrounding streets?

I The Public Service Company has stated that no trees can be
planted within 41 of any gas line.
2..- Exterior routes of travel and paikinglacilities.,for use `by
the --handicapped shall be provided -in accordance with the -.1991
Uniform Building Code.Appendix Chapter,L.31'- 'There -must be at
least 1 handicapped parking -space in this lot.A building
permit is required for installation of the parking lot
lighting. Please contact -Sharon Getz of the Building
Inspection Department if you have questions about the building
code requirements:_

3. A statement of _compliance with the Storm Drainage Design
Criteria must be provided to -the Storavater Utility. �The 8"
.,,Dvc pi e is not'acceRtable. The pipe will go underneath Parker
Street, and anything that is in a right-of-way requires a 15"
rcp, minimum. Is the existing. parking lot going to be paved at
this time? If yes, it needs to be accounted for now. from a
~storm-' drainage -point of view. Please contact Basil Hamdan.-of

5. What is the surf ace-. material of the existing- parking lot

the construction of the new parking lot? Section 29-492 (4) of
