The proposed annexations are commonly known as Robert Shields Annexation and Zoning, #19-94A and Strachan Farm Annexation and Zoning, #E18-94. The Robert Shields Annexation and Zoning is a request to annex and zone into the RLP, Low Density Planned Residential District, 18.4 acres located east of County Road #9 and north of the Hewlett Packard Plant on Harmony Road. The Strachan Farm Annexation and Zoning is a request to annex and zone into the RLP, Low Density Planned Residential District, 17.9 acres located east of County Road #9 and north of the Hewlett Packard Plant on Harmony Road. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, written comments are welcome. This letter has been sent as a courtesy to all property owners of record within 500 feet of the area based on current County Assessor's records. Due to notice being a month in advance, please contact our office prior to the hearing for status of the project.
