Dear Resident:
On Monday, April 18, 1994, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at Tavelli Elementary School,
1118 Miramont Drive*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a
neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your
neighborhood.
A developer/applicant is interested in constructing a residential development
consisting of 12 lots with approximately 24 living units on an undeveloped parcel
of ground, about 7 acres in size, located on the west side of Lemay Avenue, south
of Puebla Vista Estates and the Larimer & Weld Canal, and north of Greenbriar
P.U.D. (please see the map on the reverse side). This new development would be
known as Lindenmeier Estates P.U.D. The request must be processed and reviewed
by the City as a Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.), with a final decision being
given by the Planning and Zoning Board. The review process is 7 weeks in length
for a preliminary or final development request from the time of formal submittal
to the City Planning Department. A preliminary P.U.D. submittal was made to the
City on April 4, 1994. It is scheduled to go before the Planning and Zoning Board
on May 23, 1994.
The purpose of this meeting on April 18th is to give all participants the
opportunity to ask questions of the developer and express their concerns in an
informal setting that will not result in any final decisions. A representative
of the City Planning Department will be present to respond to questions about
City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting.
The list of affected property owners (A.P.O.'s) for this public information
meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because
of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental
situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free
to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the
opportunity to attend and participate.
