RE: Development Proposal
We are strongly opposed to any multi -dwelling or small home units (duplexes, condos,
apartments, etc.) being built on the proposed site. We feel these type of structures would
not be in harmony with the existing homes in the area. Homes in all directions from the
proposed site are all single family dwellings. Homes directly to the west and north of the
proposed development site are all in excess of 2,000 sq. ft. and sit on large lots. The
homes to the east are large and are part of an exclusive development surrounding the lake.
The homes to the south are single family units on medium size lots.
In addition, we have strong concerns about the already growing traffic problem on North
Lemay. Placing another 24 living units in this particular spot will dramatically increase the
traffic congestion and have a negative impact on the area.
We are very concerned about your proposal and we will continue to voice our concerns in
public forum, city council meetings and the voting process, in which we actively
participate.
