February 4, 1997
Dear Resident:
On Wednesday, February 12, 1997, from 7:15 - 9:00 p.m., at the Webber Junior High
School Media Center, 4201 Seneca Street*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department
will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your
neighborhood.
The applicant/developer for the Stockbridge PUD is conducting an information meeting to
talk about his residential development that consists of 118 dwelling units on an
undeveloped parcel of ground, about 31 acres in size, located south of West Horsetooth
Road between South Shields Street and South Taft Hill Road (please see the map on the
reverse side). The site is directly east of the existing Imperial Estates residential
subdivision. The request is being processed and reviewed by the City as a final planned
unit development (PUD), with all final decisions being given by the Planning and Zoning
Board. The review process is a minimum of 9 weeks in length for the final development
request from the time of formal submittal to the City Planning Department. The date for the
Board's public hearing is still to be determined.
The purpose of this meeting on February 12th is to give all participants the opportunity to
ask questions of the developer and express their concerns in an informal setting that will
not result in any final decisions. Representatives of the City will be present to respond to
questions about City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting.
The list of affected property owners (A.P.O.'s) for this public information meeting is derived
from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between
home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this
pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend and participate.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 221-6750.
Iverely, le Olt
