We fully support the 8,700 square foot Church in phase one, but without a daycare center
or school and with the understanding Phase H is unacceptable.
Thank you for your full consideration of this input. If you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to let me know.
Sincerely yours,

RE: Christ Fellowship Church, Phase One, P.D.P., #29-94C
Dear Mr. Shepard:

Unfortunately, my wife and I are unable to personally attend the meeting scheduled for
6:30 p.m. because of another meeting conflict this evening. The purpose of this letter is
to convey both support for the Christ Fellowship Church and at the same time express
some serious concerns. The site in our opinion lends itself well to a small neighbor
church, and we look forward to becoming neighbors to the church. The 8,700 square foot
church seems to be an ideal size for the site. We are in support of the proposed setback of
55 feet instead of 15 feet along Charlie Lane.
We are concerned about the proposal to operate a daycare center within the church for
commercial purposes. The number of vehicles traveling in and out of the neighborhood
obviously would significantly increase. Our home is located at the east end of Charlie
Lane. As it is now, upon departing and returning to the neighborhood in the morning and
evening it is necessary to wait sometimes several minutes before being able to turn left
and to a lesser extent difficult to turn right. This will continue to be a significant problem
even with an additional lane. It is now and will become even more dangerous with
increased traffic attempting these turns. With Zeigler Road experiencing even more
traffic in the future, the situation will be further aggravated and dangerous.
The proposed phase H of the project, if allowed, will become totally out of character for
the neighborhood. The site is simple the wrong location for a larger sized Church. Not
only will it be misplaced from an appearance standpoint, since the footprint is out of step
with a bigger building, the increase traffic on such a short running road (Charlie Lane is
less than two blocks in total length) would again make for a dangerous traffic situation. If
a daycare center and envisioned school were to be allowed within an even larger sized
Church, the situation is aggravated that.much more. A larger sized Church is not
consistent with the character of the established neighborhood.
