Garfield Loveland, CO 80538 Dear Mr. Hart: In reviewing your request for street name changes in the Cottonwood Ridge Subdivision, we have found some difficulties with processing your request. The Larimer County Street Inventory Standards require that all street names be unique and not repeated in the County as well as be simple to pronounce, in the opinion of the review jurisdiction. These standards exist primarily to provide clear street names for citizens and for emergency dispatch to minimize the possibility of emergency personnel being unable to find a location. Given these standards, we have found the following problems with your proposed names: Albaron — may not be considered pronounceable, similar names in the County (there was also no suffix provided with this proposed name) Allegre Lane — may not be considered pronounceable Verdon Drive — Vardon already exists in the County and is too similar Cantal Lane — Candle already exists in the County and is too similar Forez Court — may not be considered pronounceable Pinatelle Court — may not be considered pronounceable, Pintail already exists in the County and is too similar Additionally, street names shall be of the commonly acceptable spelling, according to a standard dictionary. None of your proposed names are found in the standard dictionary.
