Dear Michael:
In response to your question regarding wall signage and corporate logos on the Lot 5 pad
building at Harmony Safeway Center, please note the following:
In the Residential Neighborhood Sign District, in a shopping center anchored by a
grocery store, corporate logos are limited to a height of 30 inches.
2. Regarding the east elevation, the intent of the Sign Code is to allow one wall sign
per tenant. The latest elevations show three potential sign bands indicating three
potential tenants. If there are only two tenants, we will not allow three signs. If
there is only one tenant, we will not allow three signs. Therefore, please add a
note to the architectural elevations that states: "One wall sign per tenant to be
located in the sign band illustrated. Signage allowance is determined by the Sign
Code."
