HomeMy WebLinkAboutHARMONY SAFEWAY MARKETPLACE PUD - FINAL - 33-94B - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGCommut,ity Planning and Environmental services Current Planning September 10, 1996 City of Fort Collins NOTICE OF CORRECTION TO THE FIRST LETTER Dear Resident: On Thursday, September 19, 1996 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 4501 South Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss the Harmony Safeway Marketplace Planned Unit Development. As you are aware, Harmony Safeway Marketplace received Preliminary approval on April 22, 1996. This Preliminary approval was for the entire 17 acre site and consisted of a total of H 5,780 square feet of floor area. The Final P.U.D., however, isjust for the Safeway supermarket and two retail buildings. Safeway is proposed for 48,326 square feet of floor area. The other two retail buildings total 40,821 square feet. Total square footage for the Final P.U.D. would be 89,147 square feet on 10.42 acres. The balance of the shopping center would have to be approved on a Final P.U.D. basis in subsequent filings as the center builds out. Each of these future filings would have to be approved by the Planning and Zoning Bored. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the P.U.D. in general including the proposed treatment along Monte Carlo Drive and traffic calming measures in the neighborhood. If you are unable to attend, you may call the Current Planning Department to discuss the rezoning over the phone or to make an appointment with the Project Planner. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
