The map shows the following results:
274 YELLOW signed petition (in favor)
56 GREEN were not at home (circulators usually tried 2x or more)
54 BLANC did not sign petition
1 RENTER
385 TOTAL HOMES
less -56 NOT AT HOME
less - 1 RENTER
328 BALANCE (signers, not at home, renter & did not sign)
274 Signers out of a total of BALANCE (328) = 84%
In the event someone wants to get picky, the high threshold of 70% was exceeded
as follows:
274 Signers out of a Total of all residents (385) _- 71%
Please note that you really can not take the grand total of 385 homes as the base with
56 (16%) owners absent. If one does, at least one half of the absentees would have
signed the petition. That gives you a total of 78% agreeing to the speed humps/raised
crosswalks out of the total of 385 homes.

Enclosed are eleven (11) petitions packages collected by the following Golden Meadows
residents over a period of approximately three (3) weeks:

Please note that the submission consists of the following:
Eleven (11) City Traffic Dept. issued petitions
"Exception" Sheets" - Residents called upon but not at home *
*Note: Most circulators called on the "not at home" addresses
two (2) times!
