Re: Park South Commercial Plaza, Lot 2-B, Autawash Car Care Center• formal request for
30-day extension
Ron,
On behalf of the owner we formally request a 30-day extension to our resubmittal deadline of
June 14, 2000. _ We understand this resubmittal must resolve all outstanding issues raised by the
CiW s various departments, which will then lead to our rescheduling of a final review by the
hearing officer.
A collective parking agreement is still being pursued with the Carmike Theater as it is in the
best interest of both patties to share the sidewalk and landscaping required along the east
property line. A copy of this agreement will be forwarded to the City of Fort Collins Current
Planning Department immediately upon its completion. In addition, Barry and Dick Rutherford
have met with the storm water department and directly resolved those remaining concerns.
Updated plans will be incorporated in our final submittal.
If you have any questions, please call me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
t6

RE: Park South Commercial Plaza, Lot 2-B, Autawash Car Care Center
Dear: Mr. Mechels:
This is in response to your letter dated June 14, 2000, requesting an extension to
the required 90 day turn around time for addressing staffs comments for the
project. In your letter you state that a collective parking agreement is currently
being pursued with the Carmike Theater for the shared sidewalk and landscaping
requirement adjacent to the east property line. After staffs review and
consideration of the constraints as stated, it has been determined that a time
extension is warranted. Therefore, it is staffs opinion that a 30-day extension will
provide adequate time for your design team to resolve the outstanding issues
and provide to the City a revised and complete set of project drawings and
documents.
Based upon this extension a revised time line for your next submittal shall be July
14, 2000. Therefore, if complete revised plans are not submitted by the end of
the day on Friday July 14, 2000 this project will automatically lapse and become
null and void.
Should you have any questions regarding this extension, please contact me at
221-6765.
--Sincerely,
David Stringer
