FIRST NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING - 33-94A - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING• ORI : [0I910 Comm 'ty Planning and Environmenta' rvices Current Planning City of Fort Collins November 6, 1995 Dear Resident: On Tuesday, November 14, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church*, 4501 South Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting regarding a proposed shopping center development. The project is referred to as Safeway at Golden Meadows Neighborhood Shopping Center. The site is approximately 18 acres in size and is located on the north side of Harmony Road between Wheaton Drive and McMunry Avenue. Safeway is proposing a 49,000 square foot grocery store as the anchor tenant. Other tenants include retail and a possible standard restaurant. At this preliminary stage, plans also include a daycare facility. The center could also include a small office building or multi -family housing component. Total commercial square footage in the center could range from 160,000 to 170,000 square feet. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
