SECOND NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING - 33-94A - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGi Commu , Planni Current Planning February 16, 1996 Dear Resident: and Environmental ' vices On Tuesday, February 27, 1996, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Spirit of joy Lutheran Church, 4501 South Lemay Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. As many of you are aware, Safeway is planning to develop approximately 17 acres located north of Harmony Road, south of Monte Carlo Drive, between Wheaton Drive and McMurry Avenue. Safeway is proposing to build a 48,500 square foot grocery store as the anchor tenant for a neighborhood shopping center. The shopping center would contain other uses. These other uses would be distributed among "in - line" stores and pad sites. At this preliminary stage, these other uses are anticipated to be retail, bank, restaurant, and possibly a daycare facility. Total square footage of the center, including the Safeway, would be 115,780 square feet. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
