COIORADO W2A 2312 CARGY AVENUE 01EVI NNL WVO)4 NG r2001 (307) 634-1541 It is our understanding that the refermced Phase 2 of the overall project that Centex Homes is pursuing will involve some grading, sloping and general reconfiguration of the ditch bank along generally the easterly boundary of the land development project. We have discussed this oonceptually and the design will generally involve sloping that steep bank into the subdivision. The ditch access road will be provided immediately parallel to the ditch but its elevation will understandably change —probably lowering it substantially in spots. This concept is acceptable to our client. I appreciate that you are preparing final profiles and, of course, the end design will be subject to our working together .toward approval. The main concem is that the reconfiguration does not interfere with the operation of the Irrigation Company's ditch, including the access road alongside. The access road must remain of sufficient width and grade that it can be used for the operation and maintenance of the ditch without any increase in operational difficulty or reduction in safety factor. I hope this satisfactorily sorts forth our approval of the concept and willingness to reach closure on the final design.
