Dear Susan Joy,
As the Managing partner of K 8t M Company I have reviewed Centex Homes Proposed
sealigmment of the Baker Lateral. We have no Problems with the change of all n"ent.
K & M will be reviewing the construction Plans as the project proceeds. The irrigation
line will be in a separate easement outside the County Road 11 right -of way.
Constrvetion of the new irrigatiom line may not occur during the =*at= season.
Centex Homes assures me that they will coordinate with me on the timing of the
cons m wdon of the new line and.demolition of the old lime.

This office represents the Poudre School District (the "District')- As background, I invite
you 10 review my letter to Dave Stringer of the City of Fort Collins Engineering Department
dated February 7, 2003.
dated February 24, 2003 and an enclosure to that letter, being a letter from me to Troy Campbell
The District has reviewed the preliminary plans for relocating the Baker lateral. The
District is pleased to report that the District is currently negotiating with Centex Homes and
Gillespie Farm Development regarding relocating the Baker lateral and related issues. While the
District is unable to provide any commitments or approval to the City, Centex Homes or
Gillespie Marti Development regarding the proposed relocation of the Baker lateral and related
issues until various contracts and/or easements have been executed, at this time the District is
optimistic that such agreements and/or casement, are feasible.
