This letter is being sent to let you know the Planning and Zoning Board (P&Z)
will conduct a public hearing to consider an annexation proposal near your
property. The Planning and Zoning Board makes a recommendation regarding
the approval or denial of the annexation proposal at the hearing. City Council
will then consider the annexation through a first and second reading of the Fox
Hills annexation and zoning ordinances on November 7, 2017 (first reading)
and November 21, 2017 (second reading).
This is a request by the Fox Hills Homeowners Association for the annexation
of the Fox Hills development west of Red Fox Road as well as the existing
Red Fox Road right-of-way. The remaining portion of the Fox Hills
subdivision located east of Red Fox Road was annexed in 1994 as the Fox
Hills First Annexation. No other subdivisions in the vicinity of Fox Hills are
included in the proposed annexation area. Additional information about this
annexation is to the right and on the back of this letter.
You received this notice because records from the Larimer County Assessor's
Office indicate you own property near the proposed development site. Because
of the lag time in recordkeeping, or because of rental situations, some
neighbors may be missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbors of the public
hearing so they can attend. If you are unable to attend the meeting or would
like to provide comments in advance, please contact me at 970-224-6126 or

Fox Hills Second Annexation,

The annexation is located approximately
3,300 feet west of the intersection of
County Road 38-E (Harmony Road) and
Taft Hill Road. Please see map on the
back of this letter.
PROPOSAL INFORMATION
The annexation area includes all
of Red Fox Road, which is located
on the south side of County Road
38-E. The annexation area also
includes all single-family dwellings
and residual open land that are part
of the Fox Hills P.U.D. west of Red
Fox Road.
The requested zoning for this
annexation is the Residential
Foothills (R-F) zone district, which
complies with the City of Fort
Collins Structure Plan.
This is an annexation of property
located within the City's Growth
Management Area (GMA).
According to policies and
agreements contained in the
Larimer County and City of Fort
Collins Intergovernmental
Agreements, the City will agree to
consider annexation of property in
the GMA when the property is
eligible for annexation according to
State law.
