Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 RE: Linden Grove PUD-Preliminary, #49-94 Dear Mr. Holt and Members of the Planning & Zoning Board: In response to your letter regarding the public hearing on the proposed project referenced above I would like to make the following opposition and comments publicly noted. My first concern is the increased traffic flow that would result from the construction of a subdivision of this magnitude. The road needs to be widened on Lemay, and the proper traffic light installed. Permission should be granted only after the necessary street expansions are in place. It is also my opinion, that the taxing district for PR -I should implement a fee per sq ft on any housing or industrial buildings going in to take the financial pressure off the school district. I would suggest that this be done gradually, starting with .10 per year until the fee reaches 1.50. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at the above address.
