C. Natural Resources
1. Prior to the issuance of building permits for any of lots 1, 21
3, 4, or 5, and prior to commencing "development activities" (as
described in paragraph I. A. of this agreement) on said lots,
individual erosion control and vegetation disturbance plans must be
approved by the Natural Resource Department staff as noted on the
approved site and landscape plans and as provided in paragraph (a).
Revegetation or landscape plans for areas outside of the
circumscribed area of disturbance must be reviewed and approved by
the Natural Resource Division prior to issuance of a certificate of
occupancy.

Minor Subdivision
Notes for Plan:
1. All large trees along the canal will retained. Grading and
construction activities on lots 1, 21 3, 4, and 5 will be
restricted to defined area of disturbance, except as provided for
in other notes and the development agreement.
2. The small trees shown in grove areas are only a representation
of mass and approximate outline. It is not to be interpreted as an
accurate tree count.
3. Tree and shrub removal plans, and erosion control plans for lots
11 2, 3, 4, and 5 must be reviewed and approved by Natural Resource
staff prior to the issuance of building permits. Landscape and
revegetation plans for areas outside of areas of disturbance must
be submitted for review and approved by Natural Resource staff
prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
4. The developer will provide mitigation for trees and shrubs
removed within the area of disturbance by planting native trees and
shrubs in mitigation planting areas as delineated on the plat.
5. Prior to construction activities, existing trees to be saved
will be marked with prominent identification. Where tree trunks are
apt to be damaged, they will be protected with metal posts and snow
fence during construction.
6. Heavy equipment will not be allowed to compact over the soil
over the root zone of existing trees to be retained.
7. For trees to be retained, the cutting of surface roots should be
avoided wherever possible. Foundations, sidewalks, paved areas, and
other constructed features should be so placed as to minimize root
cutting.
