Under Planting Note number 19, please add the following sentence which is found in Section 3.2.1 (K) (Article Three, page 17): "Tree/utility separations shall not be used as a means=of avoiding the planting of required street trees." 9. Under Planting Notes, please add the following note regarding topsoil as found in Section 3.2.1 (I) (Article Three, page 15): "To the maximum extent feasible, topsoil that is removed during construction activity shall.be conserved for later use on areas requiring revegetation and landscaping." Design, Inc. 2000 Vermont Drive Fort Collins, CO 80525 Dear Angie: We have additional comments to pass along regarding New Belgium Expansion. These comments pertain to the Landscape Plan. At the northerly driveway on Linden Street, canopy trees at 40 foot intervals should be placed along both sides of the driveway into the parking lot. Please refer to the Land Use Code Section 3.2.1 (E) (5) (d) (Article Three, page 11). 2, Along the northerly property line, trees should be planted, either formally or informally, at 40 foot intervals or at a 40 foot average, along the parking lot side setback. Please refer to the Land Use Code Section 3.2.1 (E) (4) (a) (Article Three, page 10). 3. Along the east edge of the new parking lot, there should be more screening. Please refer to the Land Use Code Section 3.2.1 (E) (4) (b) (Article Three, page 10). 4. Along Buckingham Street, east of the service driveway, there should be additional street trees. Please refer to the Land Use Code Section 3.2.1 (D) (Article Three, page 4). 5. On the southwest side of the proposed tank farm there should be provision for additional foundation shrubs that would be required at the time of the installation of the future tanks. Please refer to -the Land Use Code Section 3.2.1 (E) (2) and (3) (Article Three, pages 8- 9).. 6. Under Planting Note number one, it is no longer necessary for irrigation plans to be "approved by the City.of Fort Collins." 7.
