Community Planning and Environmental Services Current Planning City of Fort Collins Dear Resident: May 6, 1997 The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Monday, May 19, 1997", at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers", City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, is planning to hold a public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The proposed project is commonly known as the Waterfiield PUD, Preliminary, #7-95B. This is a request for a mixed use development to include a 6 acre park site, a 21,000 sq. ft. commercial center, 296 multi -family units, and 192 single family residential lots on 145 acres, along with an 11 acre site reserved for a future elementary school; located at the northwest comer of Vine Drive and County Road 9 (Timberline Road extended); and zoned LMN - Low Density Mixed Use Neighborhood. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors have the opportunity to attend. Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no guarantee this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those attending the meeting, the Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the meeting.
