As neighbors to the north of this property, we are opposed to the living unit, but have no objection to the 2-car garage. It is quite common for householders on corner lots to construct garages behind their houses which are accessed from the side street. The living unit is another matter. This would be moving the neighborhood in a direction which we don't want it to go: multi -story buildings, re -zoning from low density to high density, more autos parked in the street, more traffic, more shade on our garden, and more of all the things which occur when population density increases. Hopefully, the city is not going to allow them to do this to us. We had our home custom built and have lived in it for over 30 years.
