Dear Resident:
on Tuesday, May 16, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the first floor
conference room of 281 North College Avenue*,the City of Fort
Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information
meeting to discuss a development proposal in the downtown area.
The proposal is known as the Train Depot Rehabilitation Project.
The proposal also includes potential redevelopment of the entire
west half of downtown Block 22. The applicant is the City of Fort
Collins.
Block 22 is bounded by LaPorte Avenue on the south, Mason Street on
the west, Maple Street on the n orth, and the alley on the east.
In addition to rehabilitating the Train Depot for use as city
offices, the northerly part of the block is proposed for a new
office building and parking lot. The Train Depot is an immediate
project while construction of new buildings is a future
consideration at an unspecified date.
The list of affected property owners for this public information
meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County
Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the
opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting,
written comments are welcome.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our
office at 221-6750.
