Dear Mr. Gallagher:
At its August 15, 1995 meeting, the Fort Collins City Council adopted on second reading Ordinance
No. 106, 1995, annexing the property known as the Snyder Annexation. This annexation, which
takes effect August 25, 1995 (10 days after second reading), includes the parcel which is currently
developed as Gasamat #110, 1054 West Vine. As a result of this annexation, this store will be under
the jurisdiction of the City of Fort Collins and therefore, subject to municipal licensing requirements.
The Larimer County Clerk's Office has forwarded to me its liquor license file for this store. In the
future, applications for renewal of the 3.2% beer license (Account #21-27421-0023) at this location
must be filed with the Fort Collins City Clerk's Office. Renewal fees will now be $71.25 to the
Colorado Department of Revenue and $53.75 to the City of Fort Collins. In addition, you will be
subject to occupation tax of $750 per year as established by City Code. The City agrees to waive
occupation tax for the remainder of 1995, and will bill you for 1996 occupation tax later this year.
Enclosed for your information is a copy of the City Code relating to alcoholic beverages. Please note
that the City of Fort Collins requires all managers to be registered, regardless of the type of license.
Registration consists of a full background check as well as an appearance before the Liquor
Licensing Authority. I am enclosing a manager registration application packet which should be
completed by the current store manager and returned to me as soon as possible. In addition, the City
requires that all corporate changes be reported promptly. So that I may start my file with the most
current information possible, please forward to me a list of your current officers, directors, and
shareholders. In the future, any changes in corporate positions must be filed with the City Clerk's
Office and background investigations will be conducted on any new individuals.
