Dear Mr. Olt,
I am writing to express my concern with, and opposition to, the proposed street connection from the
Hearthfire PUD to County Road 13 in Northeast Fort Collins.
Residing at the corner of Inverness Road and County Road 13, the proposed street connection would be
located essentially in my front yard. As such, I have strong concerns about the resulting traffic flow and
feel it would greatly impact the quality of life in our neighborhood, as well as the safety of my children.
As a relative newcomer to the area, I know that the neighborhood residents in Northeast Fort Collins have
long worked with the developer and the City of Fort Collins in attempt to resolve this situation. However, it
appears that the City has once again asked the developer to provide a street connection to County Road
13. While such connection would drastically change the character of my neighborhood, I believe it would
provide the residents of Hearthfire with little, if any, value.
I would like to register my opinion on this matter, and ask that the city reconsider locating all access roads
to Hearthfire along Douglas Road, which can be improved to handle the traffic flow. I would appreciate the
