k
They are not ready to be scheduled -
Remaining items are:
1) They need all off -site easements.
2) Douglas Road Plans are not completed and approved.
I am not willing to go in front of PZ and the neighbors and discuss how and when this project is going to
have the off -site improvements satisfied until I know this will occur and how it is to occur.

Hello to one and all,
Re: Hearthfire PUD, 2nd Filing
I just received copies of response letters addressed to all of you from Tom Dugan regarding the Hearthfire
PUD, 2nd Filing.
City staffs last comments were sent to Tom on November 15, 2000. This comment letter from me stated:
"Staff has determined that the project is not yet ready to go to the Planning and Zoning Board for a
decision due to outstanding issues and/or off -site easements. Another full round of review may not be
necessary; however, the stated issues must be resolved before the item can be placed on a Planning and
Zoning Board public hearing agenda. Please work directly with the appropriate departments to resolve the
issues."
My question is: Has the applicant (Tom Dugan) talked with all of you and do the letters he has sent
(dated February 1, 2001) address the outstanding issues to the extent that the item could be scheduled
for a Planning and Zoning Board hearing? If not, Tom has a requirement to resubmit plans for another
round of review by Tuesday, February 13, 2001.
Please appraise me of your understanding of the issues and the situation
Thanks, Steve

I couldn't sum it up better than Sheri has. The roadway improvement issue should be resolved before
continuing with further filings. We should know what IS and CAN BE built in order to discuss the
development intelligently at P&Z and with the area residents.
I've left a message for Brian Shear on the paving of CR 13 issue and will recommend they pave thru the
curve plus twenty five feet before terminating the pavement.
