HomeMy WebLinkAboutSHAMROCK MANOR, GROUP HOME - 43-95 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGVICINITY MAP SHAMROCK MANOR GROUP HOME Neighborhood Meeting 08/30/95 1"= 600' Community Planning and Environmental —ervices Current Planning August 30, 1995 Dear Resident: On Thursday, September 7, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bauder Elementary School*, 2345 West Prospect Road, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. Chris Bryan, the owner/operator of the existing Shamrock Manor Group Home located at 2711 South Taft Hill Road, is proposing to relocate the group home to 2914 West Prospect Road. This is an existing residence at the northeast corner of West Prospect Road and La Reatta Court (please see attached location map). A copy of an information sheet on the group home operation, from Ms. Bryan, is attached. The property is in the RL - Low Density Residential Zoning District and the applicant is required to go through the City's Group Home Review process by staff, with the final decision being made by the Planning and Zoning Board in a public hearing (date to be determined). The purpose of this meeting on September 7th is to give all participants the opportunity to ask questions of Ms. Bryan and express their concerns in an informal setting. No formal development review request has been made to the City at this time and no decisions will result from this meeting. A representative of the City Planning Department will be present to respond to questions about City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
