These are the basic questions that were raised at the first meeting. The Poudre R-1 rep should
prepare about a five minute presentation at the beginning of the meeting. I will act as the
facilitator to keep the meeting running smoothly.
Thanks for all your assistance in this matter and let me know if you need more information.

Dear Mr. Peterson:
Thank you for agreeing to have a member of Poudre R-1 School District attend our
neighborhood information meeting on October 10, 1995, at the Westminster Presbyterian
Church, 1709 West Elizabeth Street, South Classroom. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss
the impacts associated with a residential development project referred to as Overland Ridge
Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.). This project consists of 115 single family homes on 30
acres located south of West Elizabeth Street at Rocky Road. The developer is Mr. John Minatta.
The planning consultant is Mr. Bruce Hendee, BHA Design.
This will be the second neighborhood information meeting. The first one was held August 24,
1995. The purpose of the second meeting is to follow up with more information and respond to
questions that were raised at the first meeting. In addition to a Poudre R-1 representative, there
will be City Staff representing Transportation, Storm Drainage, and Parks and Recreation
Departments.
The Poudre R-1 representative will be asked to respond to the following questions:
What elementary school will serve this development?
2. Will any student currently attending Bauder be transferred to a new elementary
school due to this project?
3. How many elementary students will be expected out of this development?
4. Is transportation available to bus these students to schools other than Bauder?
5. Is there elementary school capacity in the District to serve this project or will an
existing school have to be converted to four -track or will a new school have to be
built?
