Dear Resident:

The purpose of this letter is to advertise two meetings regarding Overland Ridge P.U.D.
First Meeting: Neighborhood Information
First, on Tuesday, October 10, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church,
South Classroom*, 1709 West Elizabeth Street, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will
hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss the residential development project known as
Overland Ridge Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.). The Overland Ridge P.U.D. is a request for
116 single family homes on 29 acres located south of West Elizabeth Street at Rocky Road.
The first neighborhood meeting was held on August 24, 1995. At that meeting, it was determined
that a second meeting would be helpful. The City Planning Department will have additional Staff
on had to discuss issues relating to parks, street improvements, traffic, stormwater detention, and
water pressure. As of this writing, the Poudre R-1 School District has indicated that a representative
will be available to answer questions about potential impacts on the elementary school system.
Second Meeting: Planning and Zoning Board Hearing
Second, on Monday, October 23, 1995*, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West,
300 LaPorte Avenue, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins will hold a public
hearing on the above mentioned project. This is a formal meeting with the Planning and Zoning
Board.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been
missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have
the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 221-6750.
Sincerely,
Ted Shepard, AICP, Senior Planner
