HomeMy WebLinkAboutHARMONY RIDGE, 2ND FILING - PDP - 49-95F - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGHarmony Ridge 5/23/03 N 2nd Filing Neighborhood Meeting 1 inch : 600 feet Comn.__nity Planning and Environmento- Spervices Current Planning City of Fort Collins February 23, 2004 Dear Resident: On Thursday, March 11, 2004, from 7:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. in the "auditeria" of Webber Junior High School*, 4201 Seneca Street, the City of Fort Collins Current Planning Department will conduct an information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. The applicant / developer is proposing a single-family and multi -family residential development to be known as Harmony Ridge, Filing 2 on a property on the south side of "old" Harmony Road between Seneca Street and South Taft Hill Road. The proposal is for 58 to 60 residential dwelling units on approximately 15 acres located west of the existing Harmony Ridge PUD, Phase 1 development, south of the Overlook single-family neighborhood, and north of the Cathy Fromme Prairie Natural Area. A "vicinity map" generally identifying and locating the proposed project site is attached. The actual site layout will be presented at the neighborhood meeting. The property is in the LMN — Low Density Mixed -Use Neighborhood Zoning District in the City. The purpose of this meeting on March 111h is to give all participants the opportunity to ask questions of the applicant and express their concerns in an informal setting. No formal development review request has been made to the City at this time and no decisions will result from this meeting. Any development request, when made, will be reviewed against and must comply with the requirements and standards set forth in the City's Land Use Code. Representatives for the applicant / developer will be present to introduce their proposal. City representatives will be present to respond to questions about the proposed development, City policies and regulations, and to take notes of the meeting. Also, the applicant / developerwill be providing some refreshments. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
