Required improvements prior to issuance of building permit. If the property owners of the Seneca Center were agreeable to eliminating the proposed and approved residential component in their center, a request would have to be processed through the City as a Major Amendment. It would be a Type II, Planning and Zoning Board review and public hearing, based on the nature of the (land uses) neighborhood center. This process would take 7 - 8 weeks (minimum) from "formal" submittal to public hearing. Tomorrow, 11 AM, David Karst and I meet with the Overlook Group (Pietenpol, Hawe and Schrader) to talk about our positions(!) and try to come to an agreement ("what we are going to do with this" - according to Hawe).
