He should have done some due diligence. There is a wetland right below the town homes that he is living
in (Filing 1 replat) and has always been shown on the plans for Les's project and the ODP for Harmony
Ridge. Which is very similar to the retention/detention pond located on the east side of Les's project?
This is a part of the character of both his development and the adjacent Natural Area. Would you like me
to pick up some brochures about living next to wildlife from Natural Areas today for you to give him?
Based on some of his concerns we should seek a condition from the hearings officer that will allow us to
receive additional wetland native vegetation to and around the pond so that in will blend in better with the
Surroundings. This can be done during added during final compliance and is very similar to how the
detention/retention pond on the east side of Les's project has been built.
Thanks,
Doug

Attached is an e-mail received from a new resident in the Harmony Ridge, Filing 1 (specifically Les
Jones's townhomes), with a concern about the storm drainage and detention pond for Harmony Ridge,
Filing 2. His unit will be "looming" over the new, enlarged detention pond.
