Off site street costs
Back in January at the direction of the conceptual meeting, I contacted
Matt Baker to determine what our "street oversizing and realignment" costs
would be for Harmony Ridge Filing 2. He was very forthright in identifying
beyond the builder costs, a fee would be needed for realigning Harmony Road
and he had concern about the intersection of Harmony and Shields as it
seemed to be "failing" from a safety standpoint. I asked what he needed to
determine the costs levied against our development. He said he would need a
TIS to his traffic engineer. This I provided even before the PDP
application submittal. I wanted to know our estimated costs. The TIS did
not identify a volume problem currently or with the addition of our 59 unit
development.
I have Emailed and left phone messages to receive an answer. It does not
show up in the PDP comments or to me personally. He has provided the
builder costs associated with permitting but not developer's costs. I am
assuming my request is reasonable and my persistence will not net out a
higher cost just to answer the question. However I am at a loss of what to
do next.
