Dear Resident:
On Wednesday, July 12, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church
of Fort Collins, 4825 S. Lemay Avenue*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will
conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your
neighborhood. The project is referred to as the Fossil Creek Nursery P.U.D.
The proposed project is located '/4 to '/2 mile south of Trilby Road on the west side of South
College Avenue (west of Benson Lake). The request is to develop 15 acres for a new Fossil
Creek Nursery facility. Approximately 12 acres would be designated for nursery stock growing
area and 3 acres would be designated for retail sales and parking. An existing residence would
be converted to a landscape design office constituting a change of use.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been
missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may
have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are
welcome.
