Dear Property Owner or Resident:
On Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fort Collins
Streets Facility, 65 Ninth Street (North Lemay Avenue), the City of Fort
Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting
(open house format) where you can learn more about a development proposal
in your neighborhood. The project is referred to as the Schlagel Property/
Northfield Residential Development.
As proposed, the project consists of developingt 56 acres for a residential
development project consisting of a total of 476 dwelling units. The mix of
housing would be as follows: 293 multi -family, 139 single family attached
(twnhomes) and 44 two-family attached (combined duplexes). The project
is located on the west side of N. Lemay Avenue, north of the Alta Vista
neighborhood and south of Conifer Street. The Lake Canal forms the
northwest border of the property.
The primary access to the site would be via an extension of Suniga Road.
Other access points are located along N. Lemay Avenue and new streets
over the Lake Canal.
