RE: Request for time extension for Harmony Ridge PUD Phase II
Dear Mr. Stringer:
I am requesting a 30 day extension of the 90 day turnaround period for plan resubmittal
for Harmony Ridge PUD. Phase It. This would extend our resubmittal period from its
current deadline of May.24; 2000 to June 23, 2000.
Our reasons for making this request are as follows:
1) We are making significant revisions to the land plan, which include reducing the
number of.units from 123 to 63.7his involves significant redesign and -
reengineering
1
of the street
2) The project engineer has changed. It will take additional time for the new engineer to
become familiar with the project. .
3) .There are'significant issues related. to secondary access via existing Harmony Road.
' Adequate time'to`address these issues is necessary.
Without this extension, it is unlikely that we will be able to fully resolve these issues to .
`everyone's mutual benefit ';;
Thank you fo'r your. assistance. If you have any questions or need additional.information,
please let me'know

RE: Harmony Ridge PUD Phase II
Dear Mr. Furness:
This is in response to your letter dated May 1, 2000, requesting an extension to
the required 90 day turn around time for addressing staffs comments for the
Harmony Ridge, Phase II project. In your letter you state that the site layout will
change significantly, a new project engineer has been assigned to design the
infrastructure improvements, and there are issues regarding the existing
Harmony Road as access for the site. After staffs review and consideration of
the constraints as stated, it has been determined that a time extension is
warranted. Therefore, it is staffs opinion that a 30-day extension will provide
adequate time for your design team, to resolve the outstanding issues and
provide to the City a revised and complete set of project drawings and
documents.
Based upon this extension a revised time line for your next submittal shall be
June 23, 2000. Therefore, if complete revised plans are not submitted by the
end of the day on June 23, 2000, this project will automatically lapse and become
null and void.
Should you have any questions regarding this extension, please contact me at
221-6765.
Sincerely,
David Stringer
