HomeMy WebLinkAboutHARMONY RIDGE - OVERALL DEVELOPMENT PLAN - 49-95 - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING91 ki va Sol 10 Community Planning and Environmental ' ;ices Current Planning September 5, 1995 Dear Resident: On Thursday, September 14, 1995 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Light House Church*, 1621 West Harmony Road, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will conduct a neighborhood information meeting to discuss a development proposal in your neighborhood. A potential developer is proposing a residential development (to be named Harmony Ridge) of 270 single family and townhome dwelling units on 44 acres located on the south side of West Harmony Road and east of South Taft Hill Road. The Ridge residential development is adjacent to the east, the Trilby Lateral irrigation ditch and the Cathy Fromme Prairie natural area are adjacent to the south and west, and the Overlook and Gates at Woodridge residential developments are adjacent to the north. The property is in the RLP - Low Density Planned Residential Zoning District and the developer is required to go through the City's planned unit development review process, with the final decision being made by the Planning and Zoning Board in a public hearing. The purpose of this meeting on September 141h is to give all participants the opportunity to ask questions of the developer and express their concerns in an informal setting. No formal development review request has been made to the City at this time and no decisions will result from this meeting. A representative of the City Planning Department will be present to respond to questions about City policies and regulations and to take minutes of the meeting. The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, written comments are welcome.
