COLLINS, COLORADO 80525 The Woodridge Homeowners Association has received instructions from the membership in support of the following development issue: The Woodridge community was approved in 1990 by the City of Fort Collins with the understanding that Old Harmony Road would be abandoned upon New Harmony Road's connection to County Road 38E. Now that the developers of Harmony Ridge P.U.D. are making applications to the City to use Old Harmony Road as a second point of access and to restrict the possibility of a connection of Seneca Street to Taft Hill Road, we are unclear if the present plan of the City is to continue the use of Old Harmony Road as a substitute for the Master Plans' proposed extension of Seneca Street to the Southwest, connecting with Taft Hill Road at some point. We feel this reversal of the Master plan will result in the continued safety problems associated with the Taft Hill/Old Harmony intersection, and also be a burden to taxpayers due to excessive costs of improvements to that intersection's further use. The homeowners in Woodridge think that there is an excellent opportunity to design Harmony Ridge, the convenience site, and the existing Wocdridge development into desirable neighborhood where traffic, people and bicycles can travel safely and conveniently.
