Box 98 Fort Collins, CO 80522 Re: Rarnony Ridge Dear Joe: I am writing to confirm the position of The Ridge Homeowner's Association concerning the boundary between The Ridge and Harmony Ridge. Initially, everybody agreed that there should be a "tenon joint fence" similar to the fences along the streets in The Ridge and along the east boundary with Westbury subdivision. Your October 26th letter referenced "a split wood rail fence." This may be simply a question of clarifying your intent but we would like a fence that matches our other fences. We have both three pole and two pole fences in our neighborhood. Either would be fine although I believe.people were thinking of a two pole fence. The Ridge would be interested in a berm generally along the fence line provided: 1. That it be constructed in an aesthetically pleasing way with some curves and rise and fall rather than an absolute straight line. 2. There would need to be adequate assurance that the berm would be covered with grass. We assume this would mean a native grass which would not require water once it was established but it would require water to get established so that we would not have a weed problem. The majority of the Chippendale residents were also interested in having trees planted in the area although there were concerns about where they would be planted, how they would be watered, etc. At this time we are not interested in pursuing a berm along Harmony Road. If, however, creation of such a berm would be helpful to you in getting rid of excavated dirt, the board would still consider a proposal showing where the berm would be in
